Hip hop is a dance form that originated in New York City communities during the 1970s.  It is a truly American art form that is a youthful style of self expression that has become extremely popular.  The dance styles include a wide range most notably breaking, locking, and popping.


Hip hop class, led by teacher Josh Lubeck of Evans, GA, meets Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 PM.

Junior level Hip hop class for ages 7 to 12 years, led by teachers Lexi Saxton and Karen Dawkins, meets on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 PM. 

What to Wear

Hip Hop dancers may wear comfortable clothing, (T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, pants, etc.) jazz shoes, tennis shoes, or jazz sneakers.
